‘HALLOWEEN CANDY EXCHANGE’
The Children’s Hospital at Montefi ore recently held their annual ‘Halloween
Candy Exchange’ event, which was coordinated by providers in
CHAM’s pediatric endocrinology and diabetes division. For the event,
CHAM children dressed in their costumes and brought in the candy
they collected in exchange for a gift or a toy.

LA PENINSULA GROUNDBREAKING
Councilman Rafael Salamanca recently joined residents, local organizations as well as other
elected offi cials for the offi cial groundbreaking ceremony for La Peninsula, a new project in
Hunts Point that will partially be built on the property that previously occupied the Spofford
Detention Center.
