BANTAMS
Games were canceled for
Bantams due to weather on
Sunday. Stay tuned for next
week...
MINORS
Patrick Wynne minors was
short one player this past Saturday.
But the kids stepped up
their defense to win the game
by a score of 4-1. Oliva Perez
stopped shot after shot. Gino
Luciano scored a hat trick and
added one extra goal later in
the game. Noel Garcia played
defense to perfection, stopping
our opponents offense
from getting to many shots on
goal, along with brother sister
combo at midfi eld, Paul and
Sophia Ottaviano. Lillian Kavansh
kept the ball in our zone
with her strong kicks back towards
the opponents net. Jason
Velez along with Emily
Negron, Leilani Melendez and
William Rosario kept their
back line tight all game long.
The day started like so

weeks, but they were wrong.
Last minute cancellations left
Global playing with only 10

themselves down 1 - 0 early on
in the game. They assumed
they would come back before
the half was over, again they
were wrong. Out of air and exhausted,
the whistle blew for
the half, they rested and discussed
a game plan. Their 11th
player showed up in time to
join them for the second half.
They learned quickly that
even having a equal amount
of players would not prove that
the course of the game would
change. Brewski’s scored yet
another goal on them, with 15
minutes left, it seemed their
undefeated season was over.
Even some fans could be seen
leaving and calling it a day, but
something happened… Richard
Guarnieri saw his brother
Connor take a bit of a hit while
making another diving save
in goal, and he mustered up
another level of aggression,
where he single handedly took
the ball up the entire fi eld and
scored a goal that would begin
