3-CAR COLLISSION AT SENECA & HUNTS PT.
A BMW, Toyota and a Nissan were involved in a multi-vehicle collision on Seneca and
Hunts Point avenues on Tuesday, October 29. Following the crash, multiple people
were trapped in each of the three vehicles. Two of the victims were eventually transported
to the hospital at about 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

40th Precinct
Friday, October 25 at 3:50 p.m. - 42-year old
off-duty NYC Department of Education employee
Melvin Wigfall was arrested and charged with assault.
Saturday, October 26 at 12:50 a.m. - A 37-
year old female victim was transferring from the
#4 train at the 149th Street/Grand Concourse subway
station and walking towards the #2 train platform
on the lower level when an unidentified male
grabbed her hand bag. The victim resisted and the
male punched her numerous times in the head. The
victim retained her property and the male fled out
of the station empty handed. The victim sustained
bruising and pain to the head but refused medical
attention at the scene.
41st Precinct
Thursday, October 24 at 1 p.m. - Police responded
to a 911 of a male being assaulted inside of
950 Longwood Avenue. Upon arrival, police discovered
a 37-year-old male with multiple stab wounds
to his torso. EMS responded to the scene and transported
the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he was
pronounced deceased. The victim was later identified
as Franki Williams, who lived on St. Anns Avenue.
The police have arrested 26-year-old Ronny
Torres and charged him with second-degree murder.
43rd Precinct
Monday, October 14 at 1:20 a.m. - An unidentified
individual approached a 36-year old male victim
as he was exiting a billiard hall located at 1598
Westchester Avenue. The suspect proceeded to
punch the victim in the face and stole $500. EMS
responded and transported the victim to a nearby
hospital for treatment of a broken nose.
Saturday, October 19 at 4:40 a.m. - Two individuals
approached a 33-year old male on the first
floor of his apartment building, in the vicinity of Morrison
Avenue and Harold Place. One of the individuals
grabbed the victim from behind and put him in a
chokehold, while the other individual placed a knife
to his rib cage. The suspects, who have not yet been
identified, removed $500, credit cards and a cell
phone from the victim before fleeing the scene.
Wednesday, October 23 at 7:38 a.m. - It was
reported to police that Jewel was last seen at this
date and time leaving her residence on East Tremont
Avenue. She is described as black, approximately
5’3”, 150 pounds, medium build, medium complexion,
brown eyes with straight black hair. She was last
seen wearing white sneakers, tan pants, a black top
and a grey hooded shirt.
Thursday, October 24 at 11:07 p.m. - Two
individuals, 17-year old Jessica Corrales and oneyear
old Juan Flores, were reported missing to police.
Corrales is described as 5’1”, 170 pounds, with
straight black hair and brown eyes and was last
seen wearing dark colored shorts and a light colored
T-shirt. Flores was last seen wearing a light colored
onesie. Both indivudals are residents of 1410
Rosedale Avenue.
44th Precinct
Sunday, September 29 at 3:30 a.m. - A 36-
year old male victim was walking to a relative’s home
when an unidentified male punched him in the face
and removed his property in front of 1479 Macombs
Road. The suspect fled the location in an unknown
direction with the victim’s cell phone and $120. The
victim refused medical attention at the scene.
Tuesday, October 8 at 1:30 p.m. - Inside of a
beauty salon on 1406 Townsend Avenue, a 61-year
old victim left her purse unattended on a chair and
walked out of the salon, only to see that her purse
was removed from the chair when she returned. A
short time after, an unidentified female grabbed the
victim’s bag and fled in an unknown direction. The
purse contained credit cards and personal items.
Tuesday, October 22 at 8:04 a.m. - Inside of
a residential building in the vicinity of Elliot Place
and Walton Avenue, an unidentified individual followed
an 18-year old female victim up the stairs and
grabbed her buttocks. The individual, described as a
5’9”, 150-pound black male in his 20s ran out of the
building and fled in an unknown direction. He was
last seen wearing a blue jacket, a dark colored hooded
sweater, black pants and light colored sneakers.
49th Precinct
Saturday, October 5 at 10 p.m. - It was reported
to police that 44-year old Edwin Almonte was
missing. He was last seen at his residence at 1420
Waters Place wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jeans and
brown sneakers. He is described as a hispanic male,
5’5” and 200 pounds.
Saturday, October 26 at 11 a.m. - It was reported
that police are seeking the public’s assistance
in locating 16-year old Michael Diaz, who
resides at 645 Arnow Avenue. He is described as
a hispanic male, 5’4”, 110 pounds with black hair,
brown eyes and a light skin complexion. He was last
seen wearing a red hooded shirt, blue jeans and
white sneakers.
