The group is planning a trip to
World Resorts Casino on Wednesday,
November 20; a trip to The Christmas
Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall
on Thursday, December 5; and and
their Annual Christmas Party on Tuesday,
December 10. The price for the
Christmas Party is $10 and includes
food, beverages, cake, coffee and tea,
and of course, a visit from Santa. Tickets

parties. Lunch is served from noon to

center participants go on shopping
trips every day; i.e. Shop Rite, Dollar
Tree, Target, Kmart, as well as theatre
excursions, special trips, special luncheons

a member, but you must be 60 years of

Transportation services are available
to seniors Monday through Friday, 8
a.m. to 4 p.m., in community districts 9,
10, 11 and 12. The program provides
door-to-door service for all medical
appointments. Their drivers are courteous
and professional; and their vehicles
are clean and handicap accessible,
including wheelchair lifts.

The Archdiocese of New York has
announced the dates for its 2019-20
“Touring Tuesdays” open house and
information sessions at over 120 participating
elementary schools throughout
the Archdiocese of New York. The
events will take place on select Tuesdays
throughout the school year from
9 to 11 a.m., or by appointment. Thirtyfour
schools in the Bronx will be participating.
The 2019-20 dates are November
19, December 3, January 7, January
28 (takes place during Catholic
Schools Week), February 11, February
18, March 3, and March 24, from 9
to 11 a.m., or by appointment. Touring
Tuesdays are information sessions designed
to introduce prospective families
to the life-long benefi ts and value
of a Catholic education, starting with
Pre-K/UPK and extending through 8th
Grade.
Since their inception in 2013, Touring
Tuesdays have been attended by
thousands of families across the Archdiocese.
The tours offer a fi rst-hand
opportunity to see Catholic schools in
action, providing families with an opportunity
to learn about the admissions
process and meet with principals, faculty,
and other parents and students at
the school.
