We have some good
news. It took many years,
blood, sweat and tears
but Joseph Oddo’s steadfast
determination to get
a traffi c light at the corner
of Crosby and Coddington
avenues has fi nally come
to fruition.
Sadly, Joe passed away
on March 31, 2015 leaving
a big void, he will not
be able to celebrate this
with us, we wish he was
still here to see it happen.
His devotion, passion and
concern for our community
fi nally brought this
about. So well done, Joe
and many thanks for all
you did for us!
Many thanks also to
our district manager Matt
Cruz for keeping this alive
and needling NYC Department
of Transportation
Borough Commissioner
Nivardo Lopez for it. On
another note we are working
with the offi ce of Assemblyman
Michael Benedetto
to get MetroCard
Vans in our community
sometime in July. We will
provide full details once
we have secured the locations
and times.
Pelham Bay Taxpayers
meetings are suspended
for the summer and will
resume in September. If
you have not paid your
