John Sanchez
John has worked as Bronx Community
Board 6 District Manager for
four years and prior to that served as
Deputy Chief of Staff for a Bronx NYS
Assemblymember. He also worked as
a member of the Bronx Democratic
County Committee for Election District
1 of the 78th Assembly District.
Bernadette Ferrara
Bernadette worked as a public servant,
community leader and activist,
where she has been serving my Van
Nest community and my Bronx borough
for 20 years.
Kenny G. Agosto
Kenny is a longtime activist serving
the community, seniors, people
with disabilities, veterans, unions, animal
rights, LGBTQIA+GNCB.
Latchmi Devi Gopal
Latchmi is an activist who works
as Director of Communications and
Strategic Partnerships at Unemployed
Workers United, and Distributed Organizer
and Training Lead with The
Frontline.
Altagracia Soldevilla
Altagracia has spent 25 years working
on the community through her political
party PRM from the Dominican
Republic and most of the residents in
the district belong to our organization
here in NY.
Ariel Rivera-Diaz
Ariel previously served as NYS
Chairman of the Republican National
Hispanic Assembly (RNHA).
District 16
Abdourahamane Diallo
Abdourahamane has been politically
active since 2008, fighting to
secure a home for recent arrivals to
freely practice their religion.
Ahmadou Diallo
Ahmadou served as Secretary-
General of the Bronx Borough President’s
African Advisory Council,
and as a member of the Bronx Community
Board 3. He also co-founded
the African Empowerment Project
NYC, served as Chairman of Guineans
Succeeding in America, and as
a member of the Bronx Democratic
County Committee.
Yves Filius
Yves served as District Leader in
the 77th Assembly District, as well
as Director of Outreach for the 16th
Council District, Community Liaison
for the Assembly 79th and 77th
Districts, Small business & Community
Leader Liaison for the Public
Advocate’s Office, and Political Director
of the New York State Young

Helen Hines
Helen has worked as Chief of Staff
for a City Council member, and as a
longtime community activist.
Rafael Salamanca Jr.
Salamanca is the incumbent boasting
a “strong record of utilizing smart
development to build over 7,000 affordable
housing units in (Bronx) communities,
securing resources to improve
healthcare and food access.”

Michael Beltzer
Michael serves as a County Committee
member and a longtime political
campaign worker.
Amanda Farias
Amanda is a longtime politico
with experience as Democratic State
Committeewoman of the 87th Assembly

Darlene Jackson
Darlene is an activist who has
become an active parent leader at
school leadership teams, community
or citywide Education councils.
Eliu Lara
Lata has worked as Bronx HS District
Representative for the UFT for
the last 9 years.
Mohammed Mujumder
Mohammed was a Board member
in Community Board 9 since 2010. He
served twice as Interim Chairman
and once as First Vice Chairman.
Mirza Rashid
Mirza was elected as the fi rst Bangladeshi
American Judicial Delegate
in the Bronx in the year 2012. He was
Senior Vice President for three consecutive
terms for the largest Bangladeshi
nonprofi t organization, Jalalabad
Association of America.
William Rivera
William served as District Manager
of Bronx Community Board 9,
State Committeeman and District
Leader of the 87th Assembly District,
in addition to a number of other initiatives
in the local community.
