District 11
Eric Dinowitz
Eric is the Democratic District
Leader for Assembly District 81. He
is a public school special education
teacher for almost 14 years.
Jessica Haller
Jessica is a climate activist, tech
entrepreneur, and working mom of
four. Previously she worked in the
New York City Comptroller’s offi ce under
John Liu
Mino Lora
Mino worked on the Leadership
Council of the New York Immigration
Coalition. She has been endorsed by
the Working Families Party.
Daniel Padernacht
Dan is a member of Bronx Community
Board 8, and has served as the
civic panel’s chair.
Carlton Berkley
Carlton is a retired NYC Police Detective
and a Deacon at the Walker Memorial
Baptist Church of the Bronx.
He is a small business owner where he
teaches security guard training along
with private investigations.
Kevin Pazmino
Kevin is running because the “governor
and mayor have botched the vaccine
roll out.” He wants to focus on
safely reopening schools and helping
small businesses.
District 12
Pamela Hamilton-Johnson
Johnson has worked as the Executive
Director and founder for 20+ years
at Urban Neighborhood Educational
Technology for You. She has worked
on the local School Board on the elementary
and High School level.
Shanequa Moore
Shanequa started and founded a
non-profi t organization, I’RAISE Girls
& Boys which has served over 10,000
youth of color over the past 8 years.
She has worked as a State Representative
with the New York State Offi ce of
Children & Family Services
Kevin Riley
Riley is running for re-election to
continue representing the people of the
12th City council district in City Hall.
He has previously worked for Assembly
Carl Heastie and as a Democratic
District Leader.
District 13
John Perez
John has served as Council aide
to Councilmember David Rosado, Co-
Founder of We stay/ Nos Quedamos
currently known as N.Q and 10 year as
a Domestic Ambassador to the United
States Army and contract negotiator.
Marjorie Velazquez
Marjorie serves on Bronx Community
Board 10, and serves on the Executive
Board as Municipal Services Committee
chair. She is also a Democratic
District leader and an executive board
member of the Chippewa Democratic
Club in the 82nd Assembly District.
Monique Johnson
Johson is a longtime community
organizer who has been recognized
for her work by Assemblyman Michael
Benedetto, former Councilman
Jimmy Vacca, Councilwoman Vanessa
Gibson, former Congressman Joseph
Crowley, and former Senator Jeff
Klein.
District 14
Adolfo Abreu
Adolfo worked as District Representative
and Deputy Chief of Staff for
Bronx City Council District 15.
Fernando Aquino
Fernando worked as a newspaper
reporter, and later in the State Senate
and in the Attorney General’s offi ce.
Haile Rivera
Halie worked as a political staffer
on the campaigns of Fernando Ferrer
for Mayor (2001), Carl McCall for Governor
(2002), Norman Siegel for Public
Advocate (2005) and Eric Gioia for Public
Advocate (2009).
Pierina Sanchez
Pierina has worked as an advocate
for Agenda for Children Tomorrow as
well as in the City Council District 14
offi ce, and in the Obama White House
and as an urban planner at Regional
Plan Association. Most recently, she

Troy Blackwell
Troy has worked for the New York
City Council on participatory budgeting
implementation; My Brother’s
Keeper initiative and intergovernmental
affairs in the Obama White House
under Valerie Jarrett; criminal justice
reform at Color Of Change where
I worked on high-profi le cases such
as Cyntoia Brown; strategist for the
teamsters.
Ischia Bravo
Ischia served as Executive Director
of the Bronx Democratic County Committee
from 2008-2015.
Elisa Crespo
Elisa has worked for elected offi -
