40th Precinct
Thursday, January 9 at 5:31 p.m. - A 39-year
old female was on board a northbound 4 train when
an unidentified individual approached her from behind
and rubbed his groin area against her. The victim
took a photo of the male prior to exiting the train
at the Burnside Avenue train station. The individual is
described as a black male, 30-year old, approximately
5’6” and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a
black jacket, black baseball hat and blue jeans.
Monday, January 20 at 3:05 a.m. - Three unidentified
males approached a 38-year old male victim
in front of 328 Beekman Avenue, displayed a firearm
and demanded the victim’s property. The victim
complied and the males fled southbound on Beekman
Avenue with a cell phone and $25. The victim
followed them toward St. Ann’s Avenue and one of the
suspects shot the firearm multiple times in the direction
on the victim, who was not injured as a result of
this incident.
41st Precinct
Friday, January 10 at 6:35 p.m. - An unidentified
individual disabled the passenger door lock of
a commercial vehicle parked in front of Happy Time
USA, located at 520 Barretto Street, before entering
the vehicle and removing a bag containing over
$8,000 in cash before fleeing the location in an unidentified
vehicle. The individual is described as an
adult male with an average build and was last seen
wearing a hooded winter jacket, dark pants and black
sneakers.
Monday, January 13 at 1:40 p.m. - A 20-year
old male victim was inside an elevator with an unidentified
female when the doors opened on the fourth
floor, which the female selected. Three unidentified
males got on the elevator and questioned the victim
about his destination. The males then proceeded to
assault the victim with a baseball bat, displayed a
knife as well as a handgun before removing the victim’s
cell phone and $10. The victim managed to get
away from the assailants and ran out of the building.
The males and female fled the building southbound
on Rogers Place. The victim suffered lacerations to
his head and was treated at NYC Health + Hospitals/
Lincoln.

42nd Precinct
Saturday, December 21 at 11:50 p.m. - An
unidentified individual broke the rear passenger side
window of a Hondo Pilot parked in front of 1680
Southern Boulevard and removed a Mac computer,
clothes, shoes, a book bag and a watch.
Thursday, December 26 at 5 p.m. - A 50-year
old male delivery driver transported two unidentified
males from 34th Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan
to 3674 Third Avenue. Once the driver arrived at the
destination, one of the two males displayed a firearm
and demanded the victim’s property. The driver complied
and the males fled into 3674 Third Avenue with
$140. The victim was not injured during this incident.
Tuesday, December 31 at 4:25 p.m. - An unidentified
male entered a commercial establishment
at 1779 Southern Boulevard, approached a 45-year
old male store employee and began throwing bottles
of water at him, demanding cash. The store employee
complied and the unidentified suspect fled with a cash
register draw containing over $750 cash. The suspect
was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a blue
jacket, grey sweats and black sneakers. There were
no injuries sustained as a result of this incident.
Wednesday, January 15 at 7:25 p.m. - Multiple
individuals entered a residential building in the vicinity
of Boston Road and East 168th Street and pushed a
male victim back into his apartment when he opened
his front door. Once inside, the individuals tied the victim’s
hands with duct-tape, displayed a firearm and
removed two safes containing a total of $50,000 in
cash. Both suspects were wearing black clothes and
black masks, with one of them wearing red and black
sneakers.
Sunday, January 19 at 4:20 p.m. - Two unidentified
females entered a T-Mobile store located on 961
E. 174th Street and threatened to throw bleach on a
26-year old female store employee. They proceeded
to throw an unknown liquid toward a display counter
and forcibly removed a cellphone by cutting wires with
pliers. They fled the location in an unknown direction
following the incident.
Wednesday, January 22 - The NYPD has arrested
24-year old German Felix, a Tiebout Avenue
resident, in connection to an assault incident whichg
took place on Monday, January 13 at 5:50 p.m in front
of a supermarket located at 445 E. 163rd Street. Felix
got into a verbal dispute with a 48-year old victim,
before the argument escalated into a physical altercation.

Felix allegedly proceeded to swing a baseball bat
at the victim, which struck his hand and caused pain
and bruising. EMS responded to the scene but the victim
refused medical attention.
43rd Precinct
Monday, December 16 at 9 p.m. - A 44-year old
male victim returned home to his residence in the vicinity
of Wood Avenue and Leland Avenue when he
discovered missing property and called police. Subsequent
investigation determined that earlier the same
day, at approximately 2:50 p.m., an unknown male individual
entered the secured residence and removed
the victim’s property. The individual then fled on foot
to parts unknown. The property consisted of various
electronics with an estimated value of $850. The suspect
is described as a Hispanic male, between 20-30
years old and was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
Friday, January 3 at 11 a.m. - An unidentified
male entered the passenger side of a silver vehicle
parked at Ellis and Pugsley avenues. Once inside, several
shots were fired from within the vehicle before it
fled in an unknown direction. There were no reported
injuries in regard to this incident.
44th Precinct
Thursday, January 9 at 9:38 a.m. - An unknown
individual entered a Rite Aid pharmacy at 1540 Grand
Concourse, removed four diapers and placed them
inside his Foot Locker bag. A 20-year old employee
confronted the individual and was threatened with a
syringe. The individual then fled the scene with the diapers
in an unknown direction. He is described as being
approximately 22-year old, 6’0” and 150 pounds
with a tattoo above his right eye. He was last seen
wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, white
sneakers, a yellow shoulder bag and a face mask.
Tuesday, January 14 at 4:30 a.m. - An unidentified
individual broke into an establishment located at
45 Elliot Place and removed various flower bouquets
before departing in an unknown direction. The individual
is described as a Hispanic male between 30-40
years old, 5’7” with a heavy build and has a beard and
a pony tail. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored
jacket and blue jeans.
45th Precinct
Tuesday, January 21 at 2:40 p.m. - Two unidentified
individuals entered an AT&T store located
at 65 Westchester Square. One of the individuals displayed
a firearm and told the employees to go to the
back of the store. They proceeded to remove four cell
phones and approximately $500 before fleeing on
Fink Avenue in an unknown direction. There were no
injuries reported as a result of this incident.
46th Precinct
Friday, January 17 - The NYPD has arrested 19-
year Edwin Portes of Elizabeth, New Jersey, in connection
to a homicide that took place on the afternoon
of Saturday, December 21, which resulted in the death
of 20-year old Bronx resident Giovanny Pimentel.
While inside of 2170 University Avenue, Pimentel was
approached by Portes, who allegedly stabbed him in
the chest with a knife. Pimentel was then transported
to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition and was
pronounced deceased about a week later.
Sunday, January 19 at 11:30 p.m. - Three unidentified
females approached a 28-year old female
victim inside of a northbound 4 train. When the train
approached the 176th Street station, the females
proceeded to punch the victim multiple times in the
face and sprayed her with an unknown chemical substance
before fleeing the station. The victim sustained
bruising and irritation but refused medical attention
at the scene.
Sunday, January 19 at 11:30 p.m. - Police responded
to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 2241
Creston Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered an
unconscious and unresponsive 23-year old male with
gunshot wounds to the head and torso. The victim
was removed by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, where
he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at
this time and the investigation is ongoing.
47th Precinct
Saturday, January 11 at 1 p.m. - An unidentified
male gained access to an unoccupied residential
building located at 770 E. 214th Street and removed a
generator before fleeing the location.
50th Precinct
Sunday, January 12 at 10:30 p.m. - A 63-year
old female victim was riding on a northbound 1 train
when she fell asleep with her backpack on her lap.
As the train pulled into the 242nd Street station, the
victim awoke and realized that her backpack, containing
a Coach wallet, $150, debit cards and a Louis
Vuitton handbag were missing. About an hour and a
half later, an unidentified individual was observed on
surveillance cameras inside the Circle Plaza Deli and
Smoke Shop located at 1747 Fulton Street in Brooklyn
using the victim’s stolen debit card and withdrawing
$200 from an ATM without her permission. The female
suspect is described as having a dark complexion
and was last seen wearing black jeans, a white
shirt with a multi-colored picture on the front, black
sneakers with pink lettering, a red scarf and a black
fur lined winter jacket.
Monday, January 13 at 5:07 p.m. - An unidentified
male gained entry into a commercial van parked
in front of 5625 Broadway. Once inside, the suspect
proceeded to remove $3,300 worth of cigarettes and
candy before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
Thursday, January 16 at 1:37 a.m. - An unidentified
individual entered the Hebrew Institute, located
at 3700 Hudson Parkway by picking the window lock.
Once inside, the suspect removed two cell phones
and an Apple I-Pod and fled the location in a late model
light-colored Dodge Dart to parts unknown. The
male individual is described as having a thin build and
was last seen wearing tan pants, a white hoodie with
black stripes down the side with lettering, grey sneakers,
a black vest, a baseball cap, blue medical gloves
and was carrying a black bag.
52nd Precinct
Sunday, January 12 - an unidentified individual
approached a 32-year old male victim from behind, in
the vicinity of Aqueduct Avenue Extension and West
Fordham Road, and punched him in the face. The suspect
then demanded the victim’s cell phone, to which
the victim refused, before the suspect fled eastbound
on West Fordham Road. The victim sustained a small
cut and brusing around his face. The male suspect
is described as being 6’2”, 190 pounds and was last
seen wearing a do-rag, a black leather jacket with a
fur hood, black jeans and black sneakers.
Monday, January 13 at 3:29 p.m. - Three individuals
assaulted a 14-year old male victim inside of
a residential building within the vicinity of East Gun
Hill Road and Kings College Place. During the assault,
the individuals removed his cell phone and earphones
before they fled the scene on foot westbound on East
Gun Hill Road. The 14-year old male victim suffered
minor injuries to his face. The three male suspect are
described as Hispanic and were last seen wearing
hooded sweatshirts and dark colors.
Saturday, January 18 - A 25-year old male victim
was standing on the corner of Grand Concourse
and 202nd Street when an unidentified male approached
him and demanded his property. The victim
refused and the male produced a firearm and proceeded
to shoot the victim in the back. The suspect
fled in an unknown direction. The victim suffered a
gunshot wound to the back and was transported to St.
Barnabas Hospital in serious but stable condition.
