‘An Invitation to Faith and Non-Profi t Communities’ forum was held on Tuesday, October 29. Topics that were covered included establishing a non-religious, not-for-profi t organization,
community development corporations, obtaining funding from state government, established a faith-based not-for-profi t organization, using existing properties to develop housing and
shelters, affordable and supportive housing and more.

Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz held a fl u shot event in Van Cortlandt Village last week to help dozens of residents get protected from the fl u. The event was also co-sponsored by Congressman
