Celebrates 25-year anniversary
Public access television network BronxNet celebrated its 25th anniversary at Marina del Rey on Thursday, October 17. The celebration
included award presentations to Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr., recipient of the ‘Quarter Century Award’, former borough
president Fernando Ferrer, ‘Founder’s Award’ winner, and Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center executive director Madaha Kinsley-
Lamb, recipient of the ‘Public Service Award’. Since 1993, BronxNet has been providing television production training, equipment
and channel access for Bronx residents, workforce development internships for high school and college students as well as signature
programs that contribute to community development.
