 GIRLS MAJORS
 Capital Shield Insurance
took their fi rst loss of the season
 playing short (7 players)
 against Cardinal Spellman.
But it could not go unnoticed
 how the team pulled together
and played hard until the last
 second. First half outstanding
 defensive play by Daniella
 Mosca and Emma Kurtovic
 along with Ayla Sanchez bringing
the ball up along the side
   Metro Graphics photo
 each time. Danielle Shack had
to work alone in offense with
 a few breakaways but couldn’t
get a shot passed their goalie.
That didn’t stop her and midfi
 elders Neomi Gonzalez and
 Mia Lappe from giving their
all with no rest. Until a goal
 was scored on Capital Shield
 and the team rallied together
to score back in the second
 half. Spellman pressed on our
 goalie, Emily Negron, taking
 continuous shots but Emily
 made some amazing saves
 with defense backing her up
 until there was two minutes
 left. Everyone was exhausted
 playing defensively until a shot
went in but with that last minute
 left Capital Shield got hold
of the ball and with every effort
 their just wasn’t enough
 time. Their determination was
 more important then the loss
but they had a great game and
 welcomed some competition in
 the end.

If funeral homes were all the same,
Ours wouldn’t be the family choice
The families of our community so often choose our funeral home. Some come to us to pre-plan
arrangements because we offer all the options and choices they desire. Others come to us at their
time of need seeking guidance, support and the certainty of a funeral service that is correct in
every way. Should your family fi nd itself in need of our services, we hope you’ll make the choice so
 many in our community have.
