BRONXNET LAUNCHES PUERTO RICAN VOICES TV SHOW
BronxNet and CUNY’s Center for Puerto Rican Studies launched the fourth season of the television show ‘Puerto Rican Voices: Rebuild Puerto Rico’ on Thursday, September 12 at Lehman
College’s BronxNet Studio. The show highlights the role of the Puerto Rican diaspora in the recovery and reconstruction of Puerto Rico.

JOHN PURCELL MEMORIAL RUN
The second annual John Purcell Memorial Run was held on Sunday, September 15 starting at 3333 E. Tremont Avenue before
traveling through OBI on Ocean Parkway, Port Jefferson to catch the ferry to Connecticut and then a scenic ride to New
Milford for lunch at the Smokehouse. Purcell was a 15-year veteran NYC Department of Sanitation supervisor.
