BRONX YOUNGSTERS ENJOY PAL CULTURAL DAY
Children from Police Athletic League centers in the Bronx participated in PAL’s citywide Cultural
Day on Friday, August 9 at PAL’s new south Bronx center and nearby Bill Rainey Park.
Bronx children from PAL’s Webster Center presented a colorful banner and showed off their
dance moves to display their knowledge of the Stone Age at PAL’s citywide Cultural Day.

SCHUYLER HILL CIVIC HOSTS ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Over 100 people were treated to a delightful evening at the Schuyler Hill Civic Association’s
Ice Cream Social on Friday, August 9 at 3087 Mitchell Place. Both young and old enjoyed a
choice of fi ve fl avors of ice cream and more than 15 topping options. The evening concluded
with a crowd pleasing musical performance by That Duo Show.
