BRONX BUS NETWORK REDESIGN RALLY HELD
Having reviewed draft plans for the Bronx bus network specifying a ‘revenue-neutral’ redesign,
Bronxites, advocates, and elected offi cials not satisfi ed with the fi rst draft of the
Bronx Redesign Bus Plan called on Governor Cuomo and the MTA to up the ante and invest in
better bus service for the borough on Tuesday, August 13 at 558 Grand Concourse.

DINOWITZ ATTENDS BRUST PARK CELEBRATION
Citizens Committee for New York City and Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz met with members
of resident-led community groups on Monday, August 12 at Brust Park to highlight and
celebrate their efforts to improve their corner of the Bronx. Citizens Committee CEO Peter
H. Kostmayer and Dinowitz were joined by members of Stewards of Brust Park, Stewards
of Henry Hudson Park and Coqui the Chef to learn more about their grassroots projects’
impact on the community and their efforts to bring their neighbors together towards a
common goal.
