ST. LUCY’S SCHOOL EXHIBITS STUDENT ART SHOW
On Friday, May 17, St.Lucy’s School hosted its third annual Student Art Show. The curator of the Art Show, Dr. Yvonne Ward, who is also the school’s art teacher and professional artist,
organized the event in the school’s auditorium. A total of 400 art displays covered the walls of the auditorium, turning it into a fi ne art student gallery.

Sixty-one kindergarten students at St. Raymond Elementary School participated in their
Moving Up Ceremony on Monday, June 3 under the them of ‘Stars and Stripes Forever.’ The
children from the three Kindergarten classes, Kindergarten North, Kindergarten East and
Kindergarten West, welcomed parents and guests, prayed, recited several songs.
The students sang ‘God Bless America,’ ‘Do Re Me,’ ‘ABC Song’ and ‘I’ve got Joy Down In My

Throggs Neck Community Action Partnership hosted its 19th annual Poster Campaign Ceremony on Friday, June 7 at the Jeanne Jugan Residence. Twelve creative students demonstrated
their understanding of this year’s topic, making good decisions about their health by avoiding nicotine, through their visually stunning posters.
