Kathy Zamechansky, Owner and President of KZA Realty Group, Inc., a Bronx-based Commercial Real Estate brokerage
and development consulting fi rm, has helped spearhead the commercial revitalization of the Bronx.
In her Commercial Real Estate practice, she has worked with national retailers such as Dunkin Donuts, Dollar General,
VIM Stores, as well as Not for Profi t Organizations and medical providers such as Montefi ore Hospital, Sunshine
Early Childhood Learning Centers, DaVita Dialysis, New York Health and Hospital Corp. and the School Construction
Authority. She has provided Brokerage and Consulting services to affordable housing Developers such as The Hudson
Companies, Azimuth Development Group, Mastermind LTD, Macquesten Developers LLC and retail and offi ce developers
such as Triangle Equities, Rosenshein Associates, Schur Management, and Wilfred Realty Corp. She has also
endeavored to establish an arts incubator in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx, known as Bronx Kreate Space, and
has also worked as the Exclusive Broker for Riverbay Corporation, property managers of Co-op City, to reposition
their commercial shopping centers, and retain and attract new retail tenants.
Ms. Zamechansky has held a variety of public and private positions including being the fi rst President of the Bronx
Overall Economic Development Corp. She is also very involved in several business and community organizations including:

Ms. Zamechansky also serves on the Board of Trustees of St. Barnabas High School in the Bronx.
Ms. Zamechansky is a widow and the mother of two beautiful Daughters, and two amazing grandchildren, and has
lived in the Indian Village Community for over 49 years. She is also a member of the Morris Park Community Association.
