This month, we asked you to tag us (@boromagazine) in your
Instagram pictures of Halloween in Astoria, Long Island
City and Sunnyside. Locals dressed up as everything from a
firefighter to “Lion King” characters, and one resident spotted
a neighborhood grocery store with gruesome decor. Some
of your costumes were out of this world, from a “Star Trek”-
inspired alien to Intergalactic Girls to “Star Wars” characters General
Leia, Darth Vader, Jedi Gehrig, Yoda and Rey. One local dog even
dressed up as sushi! Here are some your spookiest submissions.
