Western Queens residents are experts at
expressing themselves through clothing.
Some locals have go-to fashion designers
whose work they love wearing; others
love spotting one-of-a-kind finds at vintage
shops. While some Astorians fill their
closets with classics in neutral tones — perfect for
mixing and matching — others swear by statement
pieces. This month, easy and comfortable looks were
all over the streets of Astoria, as residents beat the
heat with light fabrics.
