still ongoing, Frattasi said that
he has ideas for what he wants
to do with it in the fall when it’s
finished.
He said that he’d like for “Velocity”
to be featured in city galleries
for New Yorkers to view,
which likely wouldn’t happen
until October or November.
Frattasi said the project may
also be featured in publications
that are interested in the subject
matter or in print sales.
“I would love to get this into
some galleries in New York,” he
said. “I think the theme is incredibly
relevant to this real cultural renaissance
that’s happening — not
really ‘post-COVID,’ because the
pandemic is still going on — but
the city is very much coming back
to life and it’s going to be reinventing
itself, in a way, after one
of the most challenging times
that it’s ever seen, so ‘Velocity,’ I
think, has a very relevant theme
for New York City right now.”
Outside of “Velocity,” Frattasi
is a video producer and commercial
photographer at Gusto
Media, though he does have
some passion projects, including
this one. His work can be
seen on his Instagram account,
@johnnybegusto, and his website,
