By working through Marie Kondo’s method
of tidying, the Moores have been able to
find joy in their home and even outside of it.
“Marie Kondo says as you hone your decision
making process while tidying, it actually
heightens your decision-making process in all
aspects of your life,” Tyler explained. It happened
for him when he realized he wanted to
go back to teaching from being a dean.
“That’s what our tidying philosophy is
about: managing your stuff in such a way
that your life is enhanced,” he said. “I think
I read this somewhere: ‘Home is where you
live, not store stuff.’”
