It’s been a winter of highs and lows, with single-digit cold
fronts and unexpectedly warm days. We asked our readers
to tag us in their Instagrams of how they’ve been spending
their winter here in Astoria, Long Island City and Sunnyside.
One reader warmed up with a hot drink at Astoria Coffee,
while many others braved the cold. Whether they were
exploring a wintery Socrates Sculpture Park, doing a handstand
on the streets of LIC or playing outside with a sibling or pet,
western Queens residents didn’t let the snow stop them from
