The rest of the room is occupied by desks,
Nelson’s stop-motion animation station, and
shelves of organized craft and tool storage.
The couple loves thrift shopping and rarely
pays full price for anything. Most of their furniture
is either hand-me-downs, Craigslist items
or street finds they refurbish.
One of the more impressive pieces is a vintage
radio console straight out of 1957. It was
