BEST CHAMBER
OF COMMERCE
FARMINGVILLE HILLS
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
PO Box 30, Farmingville
631-317-1738 farmingvillechamber.com
The role of a Chamber of Commerce in a
community is to promote local businesses,
build camaraderie and partnership among
local businesses, and grow the local economy
by encouraging residents to shop small. Long
Island is made up of about 100 or more of
these volunteer groups in each neighborhood,
and no one else fulfills the mission quite like
the Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce.
Formed in 2011, the Farmingville Hills Chamber
works to advance the welfare and success
of Farmingville, an idyllic hamlet in Suffolk
County. The Chamber focuses on supporting
locally owned businesses by increasing sales,
creating Farmingville-brand awareness, and
instilling pride within its members and the
local community. The Chamber of Commerce
members are local business leaders, organizers,
and residents who are committed to making
a difference by putting the “unity” back into
“community!”

BEST DOWNTOWN
FARMINGDALE VILLAGE
361 Main St., Farmingdale
516-249-0093 farmingdalevillage.com
Anyone on Long Island knows that a
neighborhood’s downtown makes the
community. Villages in particular become
known for their downtowns, and that’s
especially true for the Village of Farmingdale.
Conveniently located along the Nassau-Suffolk
county line, people from all over the Island
visit Main Street in Farmingdale for its bars,
restaurants, and local shops. You’ll find lots to
eat and drink there, from Vietnamese food and
pizza to beers at the brewery or coffee at the cafe.

to walk around, and Farmingdale’s truly hits the
mark and then some!
