The Port Authority’s Aviation Department recently launched a series
of open house visits between the central offi ce staff at the agency’s 4 World
Trade Center headquarters and the airports to foster a greater understanding
of job duties and descriptions, and learn how individuals at headquarters
can aid and assist airport-based staff—and vice-versa. On August
14, Chief Strategy Offi cer Patty Clark brought her team from 4 WTC
to JFK Airport to meet and greet co-workers at Building 14.

Corona STEM Program

It was a six-week Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Math
(STEM) program at the Langston
Hughes Community Library and
Cultural Center in Corona. The
STEM program ran between July
8 and August 15 and took place
at the library at 100-01 Northern
Blvd. The course was developed by
the New York Hall of Science, the
Queens Public Library and the Library
Action Committee of Corona-
