Airport Security Message
Your Airport Security ID should be protected in a separate
pouch or holder away from your other credentials.
Airport security is about protecting you
What not to do Proper ways to wear your Identification
Having your Airport Security ID card in a holder/pouch with all of your
other credentials (i.e., driver's license, social security card, credit card,
etc.), can result in you losing a great deal of sensitive personal information
that puts the airport and you at risk. If someone finds the holder/pouch with
your Airport Security ID card, they may be able to gain access to secure airport
areas, causing a security breach which can pose a threat to the airport
environment. Additionally, your identity could be stolen or compromised.
Remember, you have a duty as an airport employee to challenge any person
who fails to show an Airport Security ID Card in SIDA/AOA, or Secured areas.
Stay alert. Stay vigilant. Let your voice be heard. Wear a mask.
