EOC-Time is of the essence
The airport must function safely and efficiently in times
The Port Authority airport’s Airport Operations Center
and the Emergency Operation Centers are the lifeline of
communications. JFK, LGA and EWR created these operational
facilities as a result of an independent study commissioned
by the Port to determine better ways to communicate
on a daily basis and to activate the EOC when
necessary to involve all stakeholders and preserve the
safety of the community and passengers.
