The stars of the popular show took over the Bayside Milk Farm Inc., located at 35-15 Bell Blvd., on the afternoon of May 3 to film scenes inside the grocery store. That same day, actor Ryan Eggold, who plays Tom Keen on the show, came out of the grocery store and took some photos with fans waiting outside. 104th Precinct removes 20,000 bees from Ridgewood tree 138 firefighters respond to a house fire in Jamaica A three-alarm fire broke out in Jamaica on the morning of May 16. The fire began inside of the home at 175-01 Liberty Ave. at about 9:20 a.m., a FDNY spokesperson said. According to the FDNY Twitter page, both the first and second floors were on fire. The fire came under control at 10:56 a.m. after 138 firemen and 33 units responded to the scene. There were no reported injuries. Suozzi previously served eight years as mayor of Glen Cove before being elected Nassau County executive in 2001. His campaign came to a successful close in November after defeating state Senator Jack Martins for the seat vacated by retiring Congressman Steve Israel. In the city’s first bee swarm call of the year, the 104th Precinct helped remove nearly 20,000 bees from a tree at Grandview and Greene avenues in Ridgewood with the help of the NYPD Bees unit on the morning of May 9. “We had the prestige of being the first precinct this year to have a bee job,” said Captain Mark Wachter, 104th Precinct commanding officer. “We have our own beekeeper. We actually have one of the beekeepers working for me at the precinct.”
