p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are

fun craft night! Build little
hotels for bugs to spend the

issue. This event is free and
open to the public. Food
and drink will be available

Visit Santa at the Sol Dance Center at 30-16 Steinway St., Astoria. Children will be able to take photos with Santa,
and partake in balloon art and face painting. Caroling group Songful Artists will also be present, strolling up and
down Steinway Street singing and ushering in holiday cheer. Santa will be available from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday,
Dec. 9, while the Songful Artists will be performing from 1 to 3 p.m.

Company will be performing
“A Christmas Carol” on weekends
from Dec. 7 through
23. The opening night performance

conifer plants. All materials
needed for wreath construction

Come to the Feminerdy Book
Club at the Astoria Bookshop!
This month they will be discussing
the book “Dragon
Prince.” This free event is
from 1 to 2 p.m. at 31-29

Town Hall to enjoy the
puppet production of “The
Rainbow Fish,” based off
the award-winning book
series. “The Rainbow Fish,”
originally playing in Nova
Scotia, features uplifting and
enchanting stories from the
children’s book series. Tickets
are $14, $10 for members, $8
for children, $6 for member
children and free for teens.
Tickets can be purchased
on the Flushing Town Hall
website. The performance
begins at 2:15 p.m. at 137-
35 Northern Blvd., Flushing.
8 Join the Bayside
Historical Society to
celebrate the holidays at
their annual dinner party!
There will be cocktails, food,
dancing, music, raffles and
a 50/50. Tickets are $75 for
members, $85 for non-members.
Reservations are
required. This event is from
