Reportedly, the deadly crash occurred at 5:55 p.m. on July 22 at the corner of Park Lane South and Beverly Road. According to authorities, the victim — whose identity was pending family notification — was riding his Honda motorcycle northbound on Park Lane South while a Nissan Altima, operated by a 62-year-old man, traveled northbound on Beverly Road. The two vehicles collided where the roads met, police said. Officers from the 102nd Precinct and EMS units rushed to the scene. Paramedics brought the motorcyclist to Jamaica Hospital, where he died a short time later. The driver of the Nissan Altima refused medical assistance. Comuter groped near Woodhaven Boulevard J train station Police are looking for a man who allegedly groped a woman near a Woodhaven train station last month. The perpetrator — described as a black male in his 20s, standing 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds — forcibly touched the 28-year-old woman in the area of Jamaica Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard at around 2 a.m. on June 27. He reportedly groped the woman’s breasts and buttocks, then fled the location on foot. The incident was later reported to the NYPD Transit Bureau and the 102nd Precinct; the woman was not injured. Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800- 577-TIPS. 108th Precinct Long Island City, Sunnyside and Woodside Crook steals bags from sleeping woman in Queens Plaza station Police are looking for a man who swiped valuables from a 61-year-old woman who fell asleep on a bench inside the Queens Plaza subway station earlier this month. The theft occurred at 6:15 a.m. on July 7 in on the mezzanine level above the E train tracks at the station located below Jackson Avenue and Queens Boulevard in Long Island City. According to authorities, the perpetrator — described as a black man between 30 and 35 years of age, standing 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds — walked up to the victim after she nodded off and removed her bags, which contained her cellphone, jewelry and papers. The crook was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a navy V-neck sweater and light-colored pants. Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577- TIPS. 113th Precinct St. Albans, Hollis, Springfield Gardens, South Ozone Park, Jamaica, Addisleigh Park and Locust Manor Urinating man caught with handgun, pot in Laurelton A man caught urinating in public by officers from the 113th Precinct was arrested for more than just releasing his bladder. Police found the suspect urinating between two parked cars on 231st Street in Laurelton on July 25 at 1:45 a.m. The suspect was ordered not to move and, as he turned around, officers from the Anti- Crime team noticed a bulge in the suspect’s upper right waistband area. Police recovered a loaded 9-mm handgun from his waistband and approximately 5 ounces of marijuana. Marvin Robbins, 23, of Laurelton was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana, public urination and unlawful possession of marijuana. Previously, officers from the Anti-Crime team stopped a black 2010 Mercedes E250 for driving recklessly on Rockaway Boulevard but the vehicle sped away.
