TANA SAMARAS died on Tuesday,
December 5, at the age of 88. She was
the wife of the late Theodore Samaras,
loving mother of Ann Makris and
George Samaras, mother-in-law of Carol,
cherished grandmother of Elias, Tania
and Anastasia, great-grandmother of
George and dearest sister of Marika
and Vasili. She is also survived by many
loving nieces, nephews and friends. A
Divine Liturgy was off ered on Thursday,
December 7, at Sts. Constantine
and Helen Greek Orthodox Church,
Jackson Heights, followed by interment
at St. Michael’s Cemetery, East Elmhurst,
under the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

EVA BUJKA died on Sunday, December 3,
at the age of 85. She was the wife of the late
Gustav A. Bujka and loving mother of Elizabeth
Gaudiosi and the late Thomas Bujka.
She was also a cherished grandmother and
loving sister. A Mass of Christian Burial
was off ered on Thursday, December 7, at
St. Stanislaus Church, Maspeth, followed
by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside,
under the direction of Papavero
