Good tidings and good cheer at Glendale tree lighting
Glendale residents had plenty to
celebrate during the neighborhood’s
annual Christmas tree
lighting on Sunday at the Glendale
Memorial Triangle. Sponsored by the
Kiwanis Club of Glendale, this tree
lighting happened to be the fi rst of its
kind at the newly created public plaza
following nearly two years of construction.
Before organizers fl ipped
the switch on the tree, guests were
treated to holiday music performed
by the Joe Fuoco Music Center and
hot cocoa courtesy of Dunkin’ Donuts.
Santa Claus also took some time out
of his very busy schedule to greet
the kids and provide them with early
Christmas presents. The East Coast
Car Association helped bring Ol’ St.
Nick in from the North Pole.
