BACALOCOSTANTIS January 19, 1955-December 11, 2014 Yermi Omar Magana, born on May 10, 1944 in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 2, 2015. As a young man, he served in the Mexican Military before coming to the United States of America and settling in New York City where he became a life long resident of Bushwick, Brooklyn and Ridgewood, Queens, NY. His mantra of “La Vida no Es Facil” or life is not easy, resonated with his family. He taught his children to focus on education and to abstain from instant gratification. He was a hard worker who rarely took a day off from work. He was a devout catholic and an avid reader who loved to debate politics and enjoyed horror movies. People will remember him as an extremely bright man and a thinker. He leaves behind his wife of 46 years Conchita, three adult children, Alonso, Joseph, and John and daughter in laws Yvette, and Diana, and grandchildren, Alana, Melanie, Anthony, and Amanda. May he rest in peace as he joins God and enters the kingdom of heaven. Its’ like sharing memories across the miles.
