It will begin at 9PM. WEDNESDAY, OCT. 19 Compost Your Food Scraps @ Food Scrap Drop-Off . Keep Earth clean while being restorative by turning your food scraps into resources that nourishes the city’s soils. Donate your fruit and vegetable waste and they will be composted at the Queens Botanical Garden. The sidewalk kiosk will be accepting waste for compost between 8AM-10AM on Fresh Pond Road between Madison Ave and Putnam Ave. For more information on what can be donated, go to queensbotanical.org/Education/compost.
