95. She was the beloved mother of
Renee Quinteros and Victor Hugo
Sabattini, loving grandmother of
Laura, Pablo, Walter “Kiko,” Delilah,
Dianna and Victor Hugo Jr. and
cherished great-grandmother of
Gisel, Tomas, Abigail, Nicolas and
Sophia Alicia. A Mass of Christian
Burial was off ered on Wednesday,
October 11, at Our Lady of Lourdes
Church, Queens Village, followed
by interment at Pinelawn Memorial
Park, Farmingdale, NY, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

ROCCO DIRICO died on Tuesday, October
3, at the age of 61. He was the beloved
husband of Rose DiRico, loving father of
Victor DiRico and Bobby DiRico, fatherin
law of Sarah and Tara, cherished nonno
of Layla and devoted son-in-law of
Lucia D’Alessandro. A Mass of Christian
Burial was off ered on Friday, October
6, at St. Adalbert’s Church, Elmhurst,
followed by cremation at Fresh Pond
Crematory, Middle Village, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

on Monday, October 2, at the age of
91. A native of New York, she was
the wife of the late Carl and devoted
mother of June Hansen. Services
were off ered at graveside at All Faiths
Cemetery, Middle Village, under the

Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview
Ave., Ridgewood.

LIVIA MEDIC of Ronkonkoma, NY
died on Monday, October 2, at the age
of 81. A native of Vladimirovic, Yugoslavia,
she was the devoted mother
of Victoria Kotec and dear sister of
Maria Pod and Ion Barbu. She is also
survived by two grandchildren and
one great-grandchild. Services were
offered at Morton Funeral Home/
Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview
Ave., Ridgewood, followed by interment
at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village.

beloved son of Fiorentina and Robert
E. Wines, loving father of Anthony
Wines, dear brother of Joseph Wines
and Anthony Wines and cherished
