Plenty to smile about at Maspeth street fair
Thousands of residents converged
upon Grand Avenue in Maspeth
on Oct. 7 for the neighborhood’s
annual street fair sponsored by the
Maspeth Chamber of Commerce.
Guests of all ages enjoyed live entertainment,
food, games, rides and
scores of street vendors. The Maspeth
Kiwanis Club and Maspeth Lions
Club were co-sponsors, and the Times
Newsweekly was among the newspaper
sponsors.
