Happy times abound at Ridgewood harvest festival
The lawn at the historic Onderdonk
House in Ridgewood
turned into an autumn playland
on Oct. 7 during the annual Harvest
Festival organized by the Greater
Ridgewood Historical Society. Kids got
a chance to pick their own pumpkins
from a patch and paint them at the
arts and crafts table. The youngsters
also enjoyed games, music and magic
from Nolick the Wizard. All guests
got a chance to enjoy food, cider and
tours of the landmark farmhouse that
dates back to the colonial era. Society
members also received accolades from
City Councilman Robert Holden. They
included Linda and Steve Monte,
Sebastian Rodriguez, Gerard Ryan,
Prisco Pocius, Diane Cusimano-Temkin,
Angel Jimenez and Ed Lopata.
