Hill Faithful pet owners brought their dogs, cats and other creatures to local churches last Saturday, Oct. 4, for Blessings of the Pets services. The blessings coincided with the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, regarded by Christians as the patron saint of animals. Held at the Forest Park Bandshell parking lot, guests got to browse classic cars from years goneby and enjoy other activities, including live music performed by the Joe Fuoco Music Center (at left).
