SILVERCUP W. PROPOSAL OK Board 2 Approves New LIC Development The long-awaited Silvercup Studios expansion was recommended unanimously by Board 2 and now moves to the City Planning Commission. The project was scheduled to be completed by 2010, but has been pushed back because of New York Power Authority facilities on three acres of land at the site, which must be decommissioned and relocated before construction can begin, according to published reports. According to the Miami Herald, Berki, Vass and a third individual—Gabor Acs, arrested in Florida—held three young gay men inside locations in Maspeth and Miami and forced them into selling their bodies, sometimes working in 20-hour shifts.
