Glad times in Glendale at
Kiwanis Community Day

Hoping to bring local residents
together, the Kiwanis Club
of Glendale held a fun day of
family-friendly activities on Sept. 8 at
The Shops at Atlas Park.
Glendale Community Day off ered all
kinds of activities for kids, including
games, face painting, rides and prize
raffles. Everyone also got to enjoy
free food and live music, dancing and
entertainment.
Various community organizations
joined the Glendale Kiwanis Club in
setting up booths and providing information
to guests. The Kiwanis booth,
led by Club President Kerrie Hansen,
focused on the club’s anti-bullying
campaign, encouraging children to
treat each other with respect and to
appreciate their diff erences.
