BURGLARS SOUGHT IN
GLENDALE
Cops are looking for a pair of thieves
that recently broke into Glendale
apartment and took off with cash.
According to police, at 8:45 a.m. on
Aug. 24, two unknown men broke
into a 22-year-old woman’s apartment,
located in the vicinity of 66th Street
and Cooper Avenue, by forcing open
the front door when she wasn’t home.
Once inside, the crooks stole $1,000
in cash.
The suspects then fl ed the scene
westbound on Cooper Avenue inside
of a gray, four-door sedan.
The fi rst suspect is described by
police as a dark-skinned male and
was last seen wearing a red shirt and
dark-colored pants. The second suspect
is described as a light-skinned
male with light-colored hair and was
last seen wearing a yellow safety vest,
a dark-colored hooded sweater and
dark-colored pants.

MASKED BANDIT HITS
MASPETH HOME
A masked thief who was caught on
camera while burglarizing a Maspeth
home is still at large.
According to authorities, the bandit
and a second suspect broke into a
home near 57th Avenue and 72nd Place
at approximately 8:05 p.m. on Sept. 8.
The suspects got inside by pushing in
an air conditioner in a rear window,
police said.
Once inside, the suspects got away
with approximately $900 in cash and
$7,000 worth of gold jewelry, authorities
said.
One suspect was captured on a
surveillance camera inside the home
while rifling through the homeowner’s
belongings. The suspect wore a
sweatshirt, a baseball cap and a mask
covering the face. On Sept. 11, the
104th Precinct tweeted a wanted flier
bearing the perpetrator’s images.
