Maintained by then-reporter Rob MacKay, it was an alphabetical listing of victims who lived in or had ties to the paper’s coverage area who died at the World Trade Center or the Pentagon, or on the hijacked United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in Shanksville, Pa. Some of the names included biographical information provided to the paper by the victims’ families. As the city marks the 15th anniversary of its “day of infamy,” we are reprinting the Lost List, which appears largely as it did in its fi nal publication in April 2002, with appropriate updates made.
