Her lone opponent is Timothy Wu, a law professor running in tandem with Teachout. Cops Bag Supermarket Burglars Three Caught With Cash, Tools In Midville by Robert Pozarycki With the help of a triggered alarm and tips to 911, police grabbed three alleged burglars who hit a Middle Village supermarket early last Wednesday morning, Aug. 20, it was reported. Law enforcement agents identified the trio as 57-year-old Angelo Padron of Hillside Avenue in Jamaica; 20-year-old Majinder Kahlon of 169th Street in Jamaica; and 20-year-old Danny Miranda of 68th Street in Brooklyn. Reportedly, the three suspects broke into the C-Town supermarket at 75-43 Metropolitan Ave. at around 3:30 a.m. last Wednesday. According to information provided by the Queens District Attorney’s office, the alleged burglars forced their way inside a rear entryway while the shop was closed for business. Security camera footage obtained from the location showed the perpetrators allegedly crawling on the supermarket view, prosecutors noted. One of the suspects was reportedly seen climbing above store shelves, then later passing objects to the other suspects. Members of the 104th Precinct responded to the location after receiving a 911 call regarding suspicious males in the vicinity of the -SEE BURGLARS ON PG. 44- Flames Scorch Middle Village Home No one was injured after a blaze broke out inside a Middle Village home on Sunday night, Aug. 24, it was reported. Fire Department sources said the inferno ignited at about 10:40 p.m. on the second-floor of a home at the conrer of Eliot Avenue and 77th Place. Responding to the scene (listed in the order of arrival) were Engine companies 287, 219 and 291; Squad Co. 288; Ladder companies 136, 140, 138 and 124; Rescue 4; and Battalion 46. Officers from the 104th Precinct and EMS units also responded. Reportedly, all of the residents in the home evacuated on their own and were in good condition. Firefighters brought the blaze under control at about 11:10 p.m., it was noted.
