Queensboro Unico's goal for the evening will once again
be to raise $15,000 to purchase an all terrain vehicle,
through the Independence Fund for one of our wonded
veterans, who have returned home from the wars in lraq
and Afghanistan. These veterans who have lost their
mobility now have a chance to re-experience the outdoors
with the help of these all termin vehicles. No longer must
these veterans be confined to the pavement. Fishing,
hunting, going to the beach, even playing with their own
children in their backyard are now all possible in helping
them get back to a normal and independent life.
