FRANK SCHMIDTUTZ of Glendale died on
Tuesday, July 25, at the age of 87. A native of
Kula, Yugoslavia, he was the devoted father
of the late Doris Bauer and cherished grandfather
of Timothy Bauer Jr. Services were
off ered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood
Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, by
Reverend Michael Ross, followed by interment
at Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn.

THOMAS E. WILLS of Corona died on
Tuesday, July 25, at the age of 90. A native of
New York, he was the husband of the late June
Anna Wills and devoted father of Thomas S.
Wills, Daniel Wills, Mary Schullerr, Elizabeth
Carreno and the late Lorraine Wills. He is also
survived by fi ve grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian
Burial was off ered at Holy Child of Jesus
Church, Richmond Hill, followed by interment
at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale,
NY, under the direction of Morton Funeral

WALTER PETUCH died on Wednesday, July
19, at the age of 75. He was the son of the late
Albert and Jennie Petuch, beloved father of
Wendy Anne Bornemann and Alan Petuch,
cherished grandfather of Andrew, Daniel,
Kristina and Peter and dearest brother of Olga
Petuch. Services were offered on Monday, July
24, at Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand
Ave., Maspeth, followed by interment at Mount
Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth.

FRED C. GERSTHHEIMER of Glendale died
on Tuesday, July 18, at the age of 92. He was
the beloved husband of Arlene and devoted
father of Linda, Karen, Fred and Kenneth. He
is also survived by seven grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian
Burial was offered on Monday, July 24, at Sacred
Heart Church, Glendale, followed by cremation
at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village, under
the direction of George Werst Funeral Home,
