TWO CROOKS INSTALLED
ATM SKIMMER INSIDE A
MCDONALD’S
These two men were trying to
steal some identities in a flash when
they installed an ATM skimming
device at a popular fast food chain
in Maspeth.
According to police, the two suspects
entered the McDonald’s restaurant
located at 59-60 55th Rd. just off
the Long Island Expressway service
road, between the hours of 9:10 a.m.
and 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, where
they installed a skimming device along
with a false panel with an attached
camera to an ATM inside the location,
then fl ed.
Reportedly, a user discovered the
skimmer on the machine and notifi ed
management, which then contacted
the 104th Precinct.
Law enforcement agents have described
the fi rst individual as a white
male, approximately 20-30 years old,
who was last seen wearing a black
baseball cap, black short sleeved shirt,
blue jeans, and black sneakers.
The second individual has been described
as a white male, approximately
20-30 years of age, last seen wearing a
gray sweat jacket, black short sleeved
shirt, dark colored shorts, Nike sneakers,
and light colored baseball hat.

Cops are searching for these two
men who put an ATM skimming device
inside of a Maspeth McDonald's
location.

ELMHURST
Police are looking for a man who
copped a feel while walking through
an Elmhurst subway station earlier
this month.
On July 7 at 7:43 p.m., a 22-year-old
female was walking through the
mezzanine level of the Grand Avenue–
Newtown subway station, located below
the intersection of Grand Avenue
and Queens Boulevard.
As she was walking, police said, the
unknown man approached her from
behind, grabbed her on the buttocks
and then fl ed the location in an unknown
direction.
The suspect was described as a black
or Hispanic male with brown eyes and
black hair believed to be in his late
teens or early 20s, standing 5 feet 10
inches tall and weighing 160 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt,
shorts and sneakers.
Police released an image of the suspect
which was taken on a cellphone
following the incident.
