DOLORES DINEIRO died on Sunday, July 30,
at the age of 102. She was the beloved mother
of Cristina Castaneda, Carmen Dineiro, Julio
Dineiro and the late Lourdes Rodriguez, Ignacio
Payan and Fernando Dineiro. She was the
cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren
and great-grandmother of 35 great-grandchildren.
A private cremation was held at Fresh
Pond Crematory, Middle Village. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered on Friday, August
4, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, East Elmhurst,
under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

ANGELA ANN SCILLA died on Sunday, July
30, at the age of 48. She was the beloved wife of
Jack Scilla, loving mother of Peter Scilla and
Giacomo Scilla and Pebbles, dearest daughter
of Josephine and the late John Camastra, cherished
sister of Joseph Camastra and adored
daughter-in-law of Maria and Pietro Scilla.
She is also survived by many loving aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be off ered at
10:15 a.m. on Friday, August 4, at Notre Dame
Church, New Hyde Park, NY, followed by
entombment at St. John Cemetery Christ the
Redeemer Mausoleum, Middle Village, under
the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-
27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

NORMA A. BARRETT died on Saturday, July
29. She was the beloved wife of James Barrett,
loving mother of Christine Rosner and cherished
grandmother of Keira, Kimberly and Caroline.

followed by interment at St. John Cemetery,
Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero

JIMMY MARTIN FALZONE died on Friday,
July 28, at the age of 24. He was the beloved son of
Samantha J. Martin and Jimmy Falzone, stepson
of Didi Welch-Falzone and cherished nephew
of Nana Marie Aiello. He is also survived by
many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass
of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday,
August 2, at St. Stanislaus Church, Maspeth,
followed by interment at Maple Grove Cemetery,
Kew Gardens, under the direction of Papavero
Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

LIVIUS MAKSA of Glendale died on Tuesday,
July 25, at the age of 86. A native of Yugoslavia,
he was the beloved wife of Stana and devoted
father of Virgil and Daniel. He is also survived
by three grandchildren. Services were offered
at graveside at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle
Village, under the direction of George Werst
Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave., Glendale.

THOMAS J. KNOBLOCK of Ridgewood died
on Tuesday, July 25, at the age of 56. A native of
Brooklyn, he was the life companion of Lawrence
Dubose, loving son of Carmella Amendola
Knoblock and dear brother of Kenneth
Knoblock, John Knoblock and Paul Knoblock.
Services were offered at Morton Funeral
Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview
Ave., Ridgewood, followed by cremation at
Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village.

EVELYN M. NEFF of Glendale died on Tuesday,
July 25, at the age of 91. She was the beloved
REVEREND DAVID STEVENS
died on Wednesday, July 26, at the
age of 81. He was the former pastor
of Glendale/Maspeth United
Methodist Church and a long-time
member and chaplain of the Kiwanis
Club of Glendale.
Pastor Stevens joined Glendale
United Methodist Church in 1991
and served there until his retirement
in 2006. He came to the church
and healed what was, at that time, a
broken and hurting congregation.
Stevens had an accepting and welcoming
personality, off ering a steady,
calming and comforting presence.
During his time in Glendale, he
also founded the Jubilee Cluster (JC)
Players, a musical repertory theater
group of youths and adults serving
local Methodist churches.
Stevens is survived by his wife,
Marilyn L. Miller; son Mark; daughter
in-law Gina; and grandchildren
Nicholas and Natasha, and Hunter
and Sarah Brady Stevens. He was
preceded in death by his brothers
George A. Stevens and Reverend
Edward A. Stevens and his nephew
Charles Stevens. Services were
off ered at Schwille Funeral Home,
Glendale, followed by interment at
Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington,
MA. A memorial service will
take place at 10 a.m. on Sunday, August
13, at Glendale/Maspeth United
Methodist Church. In lieu of fl owers,
memorial donations may be made to
the Glendale/Maspeth United Methodist
Church Memorial Fund, 66-14

I still cannot believe that you are gone.
You left this earth much too soon, and
so many miss you so very much, most of
