Jets quarterback Bryce Petty came to the school as part of the “Stomp Out Bullying” campaign, which aims to educate kids on how to act appropriately and avoid bullying. Members of the seventh-grade class won a poster contest held by the campaign and received autographed footballs from Petty. Among those welcoming the quarterback to the school were Principal Michael C. Williams and teacher Christopher Chin-Sinn, as well as Sergeant Philip Reiman of the 104th Precinct.
