Hadar Ahuvia and Avi Amon have
been inspired by Jewish feminist
scholarship and stories of women in
the Tanakh and apocrypha. Their
work-in-progress focuses on rituals
surviving through “old wives’ tales”
in the Middle Ages in Europe. Ahuvia
and Amon create gestures, movement
and notion to canonize women’s voices
and priorities. Come check out their

Last year NYC Ferry began its new
route to Astoria. A trip down memory
lane takes you on a ferry ride to
Old Astoria, churches and Astoria
Park. The walk will begin at the ferry
landing (3-10 Astoria Blvd.). A ferry
arrives from Wall Street (Pier 11) and
three intermediate stops at 6 p.m. Fare
is $2.75. The walk will end at Bohemian
Hall for optional dinner and drinks
and a $20 fee is collected at the start
