was the husband of the late Antoinetta
Partenope, loving father of Maria
Duerr and the late Michelina Carlisle,
father-in-law of Robert and John,
cherished grandfather of Jennifer,
Renee, Brian, Robbie, Meredith,
Amanda and Kristen, greatgrandfather
of Elisabeth, Jennifer,
Owen, Nora, Brodie, Teddy, Eleanor,
Emmett, Benjamin and Ciaran, and
dear brother of Iolanda. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be off ered at
10 a.m. today, Thursday, May 23, at
St. Adalbert’s Church, Elmhurst,
followed by entombment at St. John
Cemetery Resurrection Mausoleum,
Middle Village, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27
Grand Ave., Maspeth.

FRANCIS F. GREER of Glendale
died on Saturday, May 18, at the age
of 81. He was the beloved husband
of Mary J. Greer, devoted father
of Michele Greer-Bambrick and
Deborah Greer-Resto, son of the
Rufo Greer and Anna Sima and dear
brother of David, Micky and Rudy
Greer. He is also survived by four
grandchildren. Services were off ered
at George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41
Cooper Ave., Glendale.

PAULA DEJESUS of Brooklyn
died on Thursday, May 16, at the age
of 87. A native of Puerto Rico, she was
the wife of the late Pascual DeJesus,
devoted mother of Elizabeth Amaro,
Sixto DeJesus, Albert DeJesus and
Ivan DeJesus and dear sister of Julio
Santiago and Pedro Santiago. She is
also survived by eight grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren.
Services were offered at Morton

followed by cremation at Fresh Pond
Crematory, Middle Village.

KATERINA VOJNA of Maspeth
died on Thursday, May 16, at the age
of 81. A native of Ritisevo, Yugoslavia,
she was the wife of the late Jovan
Vojna, devoted mother of Irina Jaksic
and Steven Voina, and daughter of
Jovan Sulja and Marija Putnik. She is
also survived by four grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.

nephews, cousins and friends. A

Philippines, under the direction of
