One vehicle burglar
sought...
Cops are looking for a man who
stole tools from a parked truck in
Ridgewood earlier this month.
According to police, at around
2 p.m. on May 7, an unknown man
broke into a 2012 Toyota Tacoma,
which was parked in the vicinity of
Centre Street and Seneca Avenue.
Once inside, the suspect stole power
tools and a red rolling tool bag,
valued at $500.
The suspect fled the scene in an
unknown direction.
On May 22, 104th Precinct tweeted
out a photo of the suspect with the
rolling tool bag.
Anyone with information about
his whereabouts can call the 104th
Precinct Detective Squad at 718-386-

...but another gets
locked up
A homeless man was arrested for
allegedly stealing cash and tools
from a parked car in Ridgewood.
According to police, at around 3:15
p.m. on May 7, 29-year-old Joseph
Ancona allegedly approached a black
2012 Honda that was parked in front
of 710 Seneca Ave.

Ancona then broke into the car and
stole $500 in cash and tools valued at
$550.
Following an ongoing investigation,
Ancona was arrested on May 20 at the
104th Precinct. He was charged with
grand larceny and unauthorized use
of a vehicle.
Police indicated that Ancona was
homeless and had a lengthy arrest
record with crimes related to
allegedly fueling a drug habit.
